Personally, I've always enjoyed LEAP because each new class taught me a new skill, or enabled me to hone in on a pre-existing one. I enjoy the variety of courses you can choose from, as there will always be one to suit your needs or interests. It's also great way to meet people with similar interests to you. It broadens your learning horizons and is constantly teaching you new skills. The teachers are very helpful, and are constantly there to help you understand, and also to assist you in your work.
In Year 11 I continued with the 3/4 sequence of Sport and Recreation which I had started in Year 10. I chose this course because I loved all the different opportunities and experiences that came with it. At the time I was interested in this particular field and the course provided a great insight into what future work or study would look like. Doing this accelerated option gave me an immediate VET qualification, and extra credit as a 6th subject towards my final VCE results. I'm glad I took the opportunity to undertake a Unit 3/4 sequence early as it gave me extra rewards as well as best preparing me for what to expect later with other subjects in Year 12.
