Year 10 Exercise Science

Community Sports Director, Exercise Physiologist, Facility/Venue Manager, Fitness Instructor, Health/Fitness Consultant, Health Promotions Director,Health Researcher, Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Education Teacher, Physical Therapist, Recreation Center Manager, Rehabilitation Specialist, Sports Journalist, Sports Marketing Specialist, Sports Medicine Physician.

This unit will focus on the physiology of sports (how exercise alters the function and structure of the body).  This unit of work will study the body systems, fuel for energy, technology in sport, skill acquisition and undertake an introduction to biomechanics. This unit will also explore the various fields that sports health support services encompass and how these occupations aim to support athletes. This unit of study will prepare students for VCE Physical Education.
